Hello! My name is Javier-a Wedding and Quinceañera Photographer based in Northern California, serving Humboldt County and beyond.
I aim to bring an artistic and unique style to capture your moments. My creative eye comes from two very unexpected places: Dance and Woodworking.
From dance, I learned to read movement, emotion, and timing, and how a single moment can carry a powerful story. From cabinet building, I learned patience, structure, and attention to detail — how every small piece matters in the final result.
I bring both disciplines into my photography.
I have had the opportunity to capture many events in the past 5 years, including Weddings, Sweet Fifteen and dancing events, including my own wedding!
My style is documentary, creative, and intentional. I focus on capturing real moments as they unfold, while also creating beautiful, fun, and vivid images that feel cinematic and full of life. I don’t just take photos of what your wedding looked like — I capture what it felt like.
Every couple has a unique story, and my goal is to tell yours in a way that feels honest, emotional, and timeless.
I am based in Ferndale in Humboldt County, Northern California.
I look forward in meeting you and capturing your very special moments!
I enjoy working with natural light and shadows to create a natural and deep look on my images. I like to play with contrast in backgrounds and create images that are natural and candid.
The name "Omorfia" means "Beauty" in the Greek language and it reflects what I envision in my images. I truly believe that a beautiful image consists of natural light and a candid pose. People often look their best when they forget there is a camera around them and simply act their normal selves.
My vision is simple: Find the beauty in every angle and every shadow and any background. My editing style reflects natural-like tones with an emphasis in skin tones, to mirror exactly how your day was like the day of your special event.
I enjoy making furniture and side projects, it gives me another side of creativity and challenges me to think more.
I enjoy salsa dancing with my wife and dancing community!
My wife and my two boys are my inspiration for life.
